Missed appointment?

Dear Parents,

We have been made aware (by patients) that a mass text has been sent by NHS England to all parents and guardians of children.

It states that your child MAY NOT be up to date with their MMR vaccine.

We were not made aware that this text was being sent and are receiving a lot of calls from naturally worried parents and guardians.

If you receive this text message please can you check your child’s RED BOOK before phoning us. That should contain details of all vaccine your child has had.

There is no need to call us if your child has had two doses of MMR vaccine as they will be protected.

If however they have not had two doses please do call us to arrange an appointment so we can administer the appropriate dose(s) in order to protect your child.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sexual Abuse Awareness Week

Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week is a dedicated week-long campaign that focuses on addressing sexual abuse and sexual violence. It aims to challenge societal norms, stereotypes, and misconceptions surrounding these issues while providing a platform for survivors to share their stories and find support.

If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out. You can talk to your doctor or nurse in confidence.

It lists all the staff and some of the services we provide along with a host of other practice information that you may find useful.

***** Flu and Covid vaccinations available to book now for 2023-24 *****

We are now taking bookings for eligible patients for their flu vaccine for the 2023-24 flu season.

Appointments are available:

  • early mornings
  • during the day
  • evenings

Please contact Reception by telephone on 0161 426 9400 after 10.30am or see the Reception Team when you are next at the Practice.

Please note we are not offering open access clinics this year, as patient feedback shows you would prefer to receive a timed appointment.

Appointments are 2 minutes long and it would be helpful if you would arrive on time so you do not delay other patients unnecessarily.

Clinicians will not be able to discuss any other ailments or provide prescriptions during those appointments.

If you are seeing a GP or nurse for a routine appointment from mid-September through to the end of October, you can receive your flu and covid vaccination at that appointment.
