Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Please do NOT come to the Practice if you have symptoms such as a cough or fever. Please stay at home and phone NHS111.

We have adapted our way of working whilst we are dealing with this Pandemic. Please bear with us during this time.

APPOINTMENTS

All appointments will now be triaged by a clinician in the first instance to reduce the number of patients needing to be seen at the Practice. Please be honest with the receptionist or clinician when asked about your symptoms. It is likely your consultation with the GP will be via telephone, unless the GP feels you should be seen at the Practice. The GP will advise you of this, and give you a timed appointment if they need to see you. Please do not come to the Practice otherwise. We have suspended being able to book appointments in advance to protect patients and staff.

PRESCRIPTIONS

All patients will be set up with electronic prescribing. Electronic Prescribing means you nominate a pharmacy to process your prescription so we can send it electronically to them.

This enables us to continue to be able to provide prescriptions to you if the GPs have to self-isolate and work from home, and it means you don’t need to come to the Practice to collect your prescription.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
– A high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
– A new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you’re staying at home.
