Appointments

Appointments are normally 10 minutes but if you have a problem which you feel is likely to take longer then please contact the surgery on 0161 983 9400 and request a double appointment.

Appointments for today

We operate appointments for patients needing to be seen urgently / same day. Please contact the surgery on 0161 983 9400 if you wish to make such an appointment. You will be asked by our Reception Team for a brief summary of your symptoms to help them allocate you an appointment specific to your needs.

Please be aware that same day appointments are only given where there is a clinical need/urgency. You may be advised to book a routine appointment or you may be signposted to another service, such as the Minor Ailments Scheme run by most pharmacies, our in house Physiotherapist, our in house Well Being Co-ordinator etc or to the Extended Hours Service .

It is helpful if you can contact us as early as possible if you feel you need to be seen the same day.

Online Services

You can now book appointments and make repeat prescription requests by using Patient Access. Please note some appointments take longer than 10 minutes – such as postnatal, coil fittings and removals, implants, smears, pessary fittings and medical examinations including fitness to drive etc and so you should book a double appointment for these or contact Reception.

Please Note: You will need to register for Patient Access by completing an application form at the surgery. Once you have submitted this and we have  supplied you with login details you will then need to create an account before you can access this service and book your appointments online. Please see more information under ‘Practice Information –  Patient Access (online services)’.

Weekend Appointments

We are now able to offer appointments with a GP, Practice Nurse and A Healthcare Professional (for bloods) on Saturdays and Sundays. Please contact reception to access this service.
